View Full Version : quadripeds / polypeds

I am going to need to animate quadrupeds and polypeds interacting with bipeds. I can't tell how flexible MB is in that regard. The only thing I have found in the manual (which I have had only a day) is an implication on page 303 under "Reference:"

"... When the hips of your model are parented to another bone or model."

Could anyone point me at tuts or provide hints or other resources that could help me. (I'm in the process of downloading the VTMs on 3dbuzz and getting the software for them.)

Hi AmateurOne,

Motionbuilder's tools are primarily orientated around bipedal characters, but can also be used to accomidate quad/multi-ped characters. We provide a suite of custom constraints and relations that allow you to rig any number of characters, regardless of their hierarchy.
