Hey, diveing into some low poly modeling. Trying to keep this guy at around 3000, i think hes about 2900 tris right now.
Comments towards optomizeing the mesh would be my primary focus here, but any comments are welcome. If anyone has some neato ideas concerning optimal low-poly-modelization, or something, by all means.
Heres some shots for you to rip to shreds. No textures yet.
P.S. Probably begin unwrapping and textureing in the next 2 days. That is of course if im not attacked by a pack of monkeys, or my school doesnt implode in on itself.

nice model. the only thing i could think of is to check the head and see if there aren't any places were detail could be achieved in the texture. looks good!

thanks guys for the replys. One request, if anyone whos worked in the industry as a video game modeler - if they have a chance - to rip this thing to pieces, little, small, polygonal ones, Id'e be ecstatic. Any reply is worth while mind! *backs away meekly* but it would be interesting to see what a proffesional thinks (Read: dislikes! hehe) . Then again, its kinda hard since its not textured, but little tricks for modeling low poly chars in relation to my model would be usefull.
P.S. I'm gona go browse for low poly modeling method threadz now! weee!
