Building on the success of the free D3MO Contest release, Ventuz Technology Group is continuing its commitment to make the Ventuz software accessible to everyone interested in learning professional real-time graphics.
"With the release of Ventuz PLE anyone can experience and learn the same software and technology used to create such major projects as Microsoft's CeBit presentations and the adidas Global Marketing Meeting." says Christian Schmidt, Ventuz Technology Group's Product Manager. "We are opening both the professional presentation market and the broadcast market to the general public, offering graphics and animation students, industry professionals, and others interested a way to enter the real time graphics market."
"Unlike other Broadcast solutions Ventuz is fully accessible software. The Ventuz Personal Learning Edition allows everyone unlimited access to the functionality of the Ventuz Professional and Broadcast Edition." says Ralf Stanke, Director of Research and Development and founder of Ventuz Technology Group. "This allows users to provide their services in several markets and in turn event and broadcast agencies have access to a broader pool of users familiar with Ventuz."
The Ventuz Personal Learning Edition includes all features of the Ventuz 2006 Professional Edition so users can experience the full power of the software, including Scripting, DMX and Open Sound Control, Remoting, MultiScreen output, Screen Shaping and AVI playout. Ventuz PLE supports import and opening of all projects and scenes created with the regular Basic, Professional and Broadcast Edition, allowing new users to learn and build upon all existing material.
Ventuz PLE restricts users to non-commercial applications through the display of a watermark on all render outputs as well as through the use of a special non-commercial file format.
Ventuz PLE includes several Tutorial projects with over 250 scenes. Additional demo projects are available for free download at the Ventuz website. Ventuz users can share their experiences and scenes on the official Ventuz forum at forum.ventuz.com. Free download of the Ventuz Personal Learning Edition is available at the Ventuz website (www.ventuz.com) and the CNET Networks (download.com, MSN, ZDNet and many more).
