Are some great tutorials on pretty much anything to get you started. Especially the normal map tutorial if you use MAX. I've learned almost everything I know from this page heh...which I guess isn't much but hey it's a good start.

thats a good place to start.
guess it depends on your pipeline tho. i really like the feel of this guy so far. he wouldnt take no shit ;)

thank you everybody , here is my progress ,i still don't sure what to choose , now I have 2 design I like , the one is the big guy with sword , like samurai or ninja eastern look , and another one is skinny guy with black voodoo magic , ( middle east look) , so I begin to study the sillouette and thumbnail , what da ya think?

I like what you have, but it almost looks exactly like a samurai of the days of old. How do you plan on giving him more of a futuristic feel, something that has awaken from the days of old and come back for revenge... I'd really like to see it developed more, that one, or Thumbnail 3, which I feel has a lot of potential too.

Low poly finished , now it's about 5100 tris , so maybe I will add more ornament to his body , comments are welcome

I like your model a lot! But I personally love your sketch's head more. It looks more energetic and vibrant in the sketch. Please do keep it :D

Yung! thank you for comments and sorry I don't respond much , this war is intense and without time extension , I can't finish it for sure , and here the texture work , there are still more thing to improve , but I think it almost finish , so any comments are alway welcome ,good luck all
