Hi all,

here's the Reaper robot updated from the last time. Crits welcome at this stage :)

Savage design there, when I read the title, i was picturing a more cartoony less devilish looking "cliche" reaper robot, but this blew me away. talk about fear of death. :surprised

i like it if it has a bigger hands. the robot looks weak right now just because of the fingers are thin.

i like it very much tho. i am just too picky on the hands.:p

beautiful model! I love the design and idea behind it!

Although I do have one suggestion that I think might make it even better: Try making the arms and hands a lot bigger. Like, disproportionally large. Like he's ready to bash down the doors the heaven or something. I think he'd look a lot more menacing that way.

Just a suggestion, it's awsome the way it is :-D

I like it just the way it is. . .I see the point here. . .but I think it looks huge just because the head/skull is pretty small. Really cool design. Gonna animate it? ? ?

I love that leg design! I would agree that bigger hands would make it look more menacing, although small hands make it look more sinister. Awesome!

Absolutely beautiful.

My only crit is that the nasal cavity looks thrown together in a hurry, may want to work on the anatomy there.

I like the idea but what did he die of?

His skull looks a little too perfect, not scared or skratched or anything like that.

Maybe he died of biological warfare I don't know.

He reminds me of a Starcraft unit... but more dead.

Cool, I think the only changes that you should make is to light the lower half a little better, take off that chain that is hanging from its chest, and it might be cool if you put a nice blue or red glow in its eyes.

Nice robot, but:

1. the skull somewhat looks out of place (maybe a nose hole could be smaller - i'm not an expert on anatomy). and it also looks like center vertexes wasn't welded after modellind (the skull has a vertical cut in the middle of the face).

2. the texture of legs - the legs look too identical - it has rust and scraches in the same places :hmm:

and totally rusted and stained scythe would look good :)

Nice model

I have only seen one comment about the seam in the skull, to me, it is quite apparent and I think you must fix it, that just says cutting corners/ran out of time

Also, I think the model/textures could use more contrast, nothing seems to really stand out to me on the model, the face should stand out a lot more

You need to add way more detail on the skull and make it more anatomically correct, I think he needs to look more menacing personally

Hope these are helpful crits or atleast get you looking at some new possiblities for this model

Very impressed with the level of detail in this character, I really like the subtle way you handled the texturing. My only crit would be to spend some more time on the face, give it the same kinda love you did with the rest on the body. Very nice

Reaper robot,

That model is sickening and the textures really juice me up to the max. One quam though; the website. It's a little difficullt to navigate when the whole website is the cursor. I'd like to see your other WIPs. Lemme know if theres another way to browse your work. :surprised

Actually I didn't find your site hard to navigate, but I don't really like the box on the line cursor system. It is annoying having a virtical line threw what im reading.

If you like the system and want to keep it can I suggest making it visible over the close button for the pictures (that threw me for a sec.)

Also on each picture add a next/prev button so the user doesn't have to close an existing pic and then open another.

But I like your work... working on a knight myself (see avatar been like that for 5 months :) )

Very nice, my new Projekt is also an Mechwarrior. But I'm fare away from that.

But i think the Reaperrobot need a Weapon.
