Given the u, v on a surface, any ideas on how one can query the local space? pointOnSurface gives me the world space which isn't helpful...
Also the nurbsShape has a local attribute, anyone knows how I can query it; probably my answer lies there but I cannot get its values.

i dunno if im gettin u right.. but cant u use the convertSelectionToVertices and then xform the local space location of the vertex?? hope i got u right anyway..
