Hi! friends,

I want to develop a game through a game engine. There are many engines available on internet. But, i don't know which one is the best.........

ok, there's a simple distinction to make first... are you looking for a game engine (graphics, sound, physics, ai) or a graphics engine?

Also, are you looking for free tools or commercial tools?

For a game engine I suggest 'Torque' which is fairly cheap and very popular. For a graphics engine I'd suggest 'Ogre 3d'.

Depending on how much work you want to do yourself the XNA framework is also a great starting place - it's really fast to get running and free. c# is a joy to program in as well.

also you can use unreal engine 2, it is of license but here is the demo http://udn.epicgames.com/Two/UnrealEngine2Runtime22262002, with this game engine was used by important companies. you can check it http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html/technology/ue2.shtml

another game engine is "3d game studio" but I dont if is good to you need.
