View Full Version : 6.0 XSI material icons readability

Besides the R.Region & FG issues,
I think 6.0 is an amazing update.

And also I love the new Render Manager.

I am sure we all have different workflow but,
prior to ver 6, I found the setting-up renders to be
a painfully tedious task.

But thanks to new Render-Manager, the pain is gone
It is so logically put togeter. I can only wonder
how people dislike such wounderful a thing.

Anyway, in ver6, I came across something
that bothers me.

I work in 2048x1280 resolution and i have no
difficulty in reading many of the explorer icons in XSI.

However I noticed that SOFTIMAGE changed
the material icons in ver6. Its look corresponds
to the ones in the GREAT NEW material-manager.

What bothers me with the new material icons in the
explorer is that they are hardly distinguishable.
I can not really tell, if it's single or multi.
So I hope in the NEXT update, SI will make it
easily distinguishable.

That's all.
