THE BEST 12 Sketches OF 2006! Post here your nominations for the 2007 Calendar! (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=130&t=445953)
These are the rules:
You have 50 MN for your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
They can be done on any medium.
If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.
The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.
Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
The topics will be picked at random from the list on the TOPICS thread >>LINK<< (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php/?t=145003)
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them).

Great sketch Wexter! It looks so real!
I recently made a manga character, witch is a gril and a warroir, so sorta a 'Girl Power' sketch too :P,
but since I worked more than 50 min on that one, I'll post this try, 45 mn PS:

Wexter man I like yours, the colors are really nice...
But I think girls are not much about the testosterone thing, they find that more subtle ways of showing their power... oh yeah sorry for ruining this fine thread with my bad skills I am still but a noob

Thanks, it was truely the most amazing day of my life. And my wife was actually very calm, not like what yuou see in the picture! I back to work now! Thanks !

I live with 2 girls, and sometimes when their friends are over and i enter the kitchen its just like that:

lmao Vahn, I used to work in a hair salon and wow when that place got full I thought of excatly the same thing... bad thing is I am a girl so was just as talkative ha ha

My idea of Girl Power, a Women who she is a general in an arme.
it took me 60mins, the 10mins were to look for the right clothing symbols and attaching it correctly to the girl and than extra line touches in photoshop.
painting was done right on wacome, no paper so thats why it tends to have unbalacned lines, (time pressure :D )
* removed the lines sorrounding the symbols, my srcreen was too dark to see them - sorry ^^
