View Full Version : Mapping object - blend map over time - PFlow Box 1

I am trying to get a map to blend from one to the other - so as the particles fly from one target to another - they blend their colours.

I have two planes with images on - the particles are set to emit from one - and pick up the colour using Mapping Object. They then Find Target to the other plane and Lock/Bond. I want the particles to change colour as they fly through space to match the target they are hitting.

Try as I might - I can't get the particles to change colour - any help?

maybe assign a material with a mix map in the diffuse slot, and a gradient in the mask slot. Then use the mapping modifier, and animate the U coord from 0 to 1, based on event age?
