View Full Version : Quadraped Rigging

Hi, I'm trying to rigg a griffin I modelled but can't seem to get good results with my previous attempts. I've been trying to give the creature IK legs but get wierd results with its shouders and ankle areas. If anyone could give me a hand I would greatly appreciate it. Take a look. :hmm:

not that i'm a griffin anatomy expert, but it seems your shoulder joints seem to be waaay off course ;)
try to put the beneath the spine. otherwise you will get a lot of deformation in strange areas when moving the shoulder.

what exactly are your problems with the ik?

Yep, fixed the shoulders. With the rig I had previously set up I adapted the reverse foot setup for the legs but that went way off course for me. I didn't like the control I had with it. I've changed it with some tips I got from some people here so it's much better. :)
