merge trigons has been around for awhile but it was an lscript that could slow down on larger objects. Since then others have come out that hopefully are faster. :)

I've been using MergeTrigonsX for a while in concert with FI's Normal Corrector. The NormalCorrect is extremely handy since MergeTrigons often creates a few non-planars and flipped polys.
Works extremely well in the first stage of optimizing geometry that's come from Max.

the plugin doesnt seem to be doing anything :| is it something that goes through the whole model and converts all tris to quads or do i have to select things?
