View Full Version : PFlow making a river

01 January 2007, 05:34 AM
Hi, this is a newbie question - I'm new to particle flow and my current project is for a tank to cross a flowing river.

Is PFlow capable of doing rivers and reacting to an object realistically like "RealFlow"?

Can I use metaparticles with PFlow?

Better yet - is there any tutorial on the web to accomplish something like this?

Thanks :)

Pflow doesn't have fluid dynamics built in. You can use either realflow or glu3d to accomplish this. You can use blobmesh with pflow or pwrapper (part of glu3d) to get the fluid look, but trying to get pflow to have the same motion as a fluid dynamic solution will be incredibly hard.
