I am about to rewrite my web site for 5.6 and INSPIRE users, basically telling them to forget about them, except possibly for modelling, though the workflow tools in Lightwave with lofting and such might even favor LW over INSPIRE there.
Lightwave Discovery Edition is the kind of thing I wouldn't hesitate to pass along to a friend who's been using Bryce and Poser and just got himself a Mac but has to watch his budget. He doesn't have to go broke to see if the CG learning curve is for him.
The web site is some tutorials for INSPIRE that must seem like how to make butter with your own churn stuff, but at the time, it seemed to make sense. www.inspirejoy.50megs.com
So, what's it like?
