Great work. You definitely got the detail down!
Hey just applied for a position with DE:) as a texture artist.
Wish me luck!:)
Are you gonna enter the game comp art contest? I'd love to see what you come up with.
The walls you did were amazing! Were they photo reference? or all in photoshop?
Anyways I better get back to work.

Textures take from an hour up to 2-3 days. The more painted details you have the longer it takes.
Layers... from 3 to around 20. I never merge them so i can exchange anything at any time or do variations/fixes easily.
I use a lot of photosources for the base materials in the textures, always have my digi cam with me. Looks like this then
Details are then painted on top and if it helps to blend them better with the backround i throw a dirt/rust layer on them too.
The UT2 Gothic theme needed a lot of rough rusty stuff ¬_¬
Good luck modeling_man, afaik we aren't hiring tho atm. The job entries on the homepage haven't been updated for about 3 years... :/

Very nice site, the content/textures are breath taking.

Our systems for making textures are pretty much the same...I stand by my digital camera. (Minolta S404) it takes some pretty damn good shots.
Anyways that's pretty funny about the position...I received an email from the HR about sending my work off to the "right people". LOL gotta love those pre-done auto emails. GOOOOOOOOOO HR!!!
Anyways good to see how you made some of those textures...really glad to see you don't spend all day painting the rocks:)
Anyways, I gotta go take some snapshots for a project.
Hi SF good to see you here, i think i had an idea you were at DE but i love the textures anyway ;), anyway welcome.
