The first one is actually the panorama like for movie background. But i found that some closeups can do as well http://www.mattepainting.org//forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Here one of them

Looks great, MPavel. I have a little request though, would it be possible for you to post a gerneral run down on how you made this image?

Thanks

Nice expansion on the "ocean well" idea. Love your rocky towers rising out of the wells - even more tha the Doug Chiang concept that had floating cities in them. Would love to see more "making of" info, too.

Yeah, i know you wont believe but i did not see that "Robota" sketches befor  . But When i showed my image to my friend today, he gave my the same link to that. Damn, really the similar idea =))) Well, the more i work the more i make sure it is so hard to make someting unique - everything is allready done by somebody somewhere =)))))

Damn koncept artists, didn`t leave to us a room for imagination

I want to go there, absolutely brilliant, i know what you mean about concept artists ha ha. I love the sense of space created, even the horizon being off has given it that organic feel. Cant wait to see more of your work.

This is a beautiful piece. Great intergration of photo elements. I just have a few constructive comments:

-The horizon is tilted, I don't know if it's meant to be, but it throws me off a little.
-The ship in the middle seems out of place, maybe because there is no lighting on it?
-The clouds fit the scene very well, however the highlights are overly cyan (atleast on the left side).
-The lighting on the rocks suggests that it's sunset (or close to it) but this isn't reflected in the atomosphere and water.

Keep up the great work!
