View Full Version : Texture Editor question for XSI 6

Hi everyone...

I apologize for the "noobie - type" ... because I fell this problem can be fixed by simply adjusting a setting somewhere...

I'll try to simplify my question since i am poor with the terminology...

today I used the texture edior in XSI 6 for the first time. One immediate difference from 5.11 is that when i raycast select a polygon, then try to move it in the editor, (in V6) the connecting points move along with the selected face :sad:

if i did the same thing in 5.11, the polys would get "cut" from the other parts...

I feel this is probabbly just a setting I need to change somewhere...

Can anyone help me out? :shrug:

They added an icon in the TE. Hit the T button near the beginning, and then you can tear the uvs off.

"tearing" so thats the term.

I guess it would have been easy to search it up in help if I knew the right term... :thumbsup:

Isn't there like a dictionary for the technical terms or something?
