View Full Version : The ultimate HID for modelling - does it exist?

As usual, excuse my english friends - I try my best. I am equipped with a very spare money but IF such a thing would exisit I would consider buying it, regardless how much is costs (if I may afford). I am thinking of a 3dimensional pen, as I have already seen one - a pen stuck onto some kind of large dynamic arm - in conjunction with some kind of TrackIR or even VR-Goggles, so you can model just under 'real-life-conditions'.
If it is not VR, TrackIR may do the job too - having one hand on the pen, the other on the mouse to control things like brush-density or color and turning the object on the screen on on VR-Goggles by turning your head. If it was VR you may really get the feeling of sculpting in VR.
Anyone has seen that 3D-Pen before? Anyone who knows if something equivalent exists?

Excuse my bad english and my colorful fantasy, ManDay
