Well, my first wip. I know right now nothing common with pteradactyl, but i hope in near future fix it ))

Yea good start Maxts. You should be able to achieve some nice shading effects on the wing, just like in the frame you've chosen.

I think the limbs and also the body look quite angular at the moment, try rounding them out a bit more so they dont look quite as boxy. Hard to tell if its there from your screencap but it also has a bit of a tail in the photograph which you might want to include. Other than that looking good, plenty of time to concentrate on the textures.

Interesting choice. I am starting with a dino too. Will he be able to open his mouth just does not look it from the pic. Look at the claws too. One nice thing about a dinosaur is that you can fill in gaps of your referances with other pics.
