Ive been playing around with textures a bit recently and i thought i would post some shots of stuff :)

--Mexican type wall with brick trim--

these look pretty awesome. on the bottom part of the red wall with windows where the paint is chipped i think the bump/normal is making it look a bit blobby. maybe try to sharpen that edge. ovverall looks rather tight. maybe a bit too much spec on the mexican one but thats a minor easily fixable issue.

They look good but i feel that the red one has a bit too much saturation.
Might be a matter of taste but i found less saturated textures in games more pleasant to look at.

I'd say the brown wall is definately looking the best imo. Love those old bricks at the bottom.

Are you gonna use these for an environment or are they just for practice?

i like it ! specially the saturation, i think it gives it character , nowadays games are desaturated because it is believed that non sauration = next generation content...

Are you gonna use these for an environment or are they just for practice?

i was going to give some of them to a mapper working on my mod with me .
