This is my first ever lowpoly char so please dont be too hard on the poor little puppy.
Polycount is at 1600 and bitmaps are 520*520
please feel free to crit and coment.

the model looks good. you should change your texture to a 512x512 cause games usually use textures in a power of 2. unless that engine calls for that texture size. other than that good job looks great.

only comment i have is the eyes look a bit funny. i think they need to be moved up a bit...and maybe a bit smaller. other than that i think it looks good.

the eyes are a bit low and maybe just a little too large for the head depends on what look you are going for though .

thanx for the replies, i do agree that the eys perhaps should be a bit smaller but it might be the angle that makes you say there to low because theres a great big brow over the eye i tried to make it smaller but that just resulted in him looking a bit nicer.

thanx again for all the replies and ill fix the comments asap.

im working on my second model right now and will post it when it gets done, learned a lot from this character and feel a bit more prepered.

Hes looking good, I really think he could use a cooler pose though..

Lower his center of gravity to make it seem like hes about to pounce, as well as posing his arms so they're at more of a "ready" state.
Yeah, I know it's a little cliche, but cool!! :D

Yup, like it very much. But I personally am not 100% satisfied with the head. The eyes seem way too large, while the mouth is kinda small. Anyway great textur, could you perhaps post it? ;)

hersa i little update.

Made the eyes a bit smaller but due to the small size i couldent fit so much detail so i just painted them red.

I think it looks great ... cant say anything about the texture yet and please post a wireframe or a just flatshaded grey view.

that new test render with the eyes and stuff fixed looks much better. :beer: nice job.
