View Full Version : Color Correction

Hey! I have Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop (the dv collection) and i was wondering if there was a way to easily color correct just segments of a clip withou hand painting each frame, for example, I have a couple of shots of a vietnam war sequence shot here in Georgia forests (which look nothing like the jungle). I want to make the shot as a whole look greener, but i want the flesh to stay really warm. I guess you could say that im looking for a way to do what they did on LOTR with adobe products. Thanks for your help!:)

There is a Gamma/Hue/Saturation Plugin in After Effects for each Color Channel. Try playing around with the green channel's settings. Otherwise you could try the color replacement plugin (also in AE), choose the average green of the trees and play around with the settings...

what you need is keyframing!

expand the video track >> display keyframing

now you are able to set keys to define the area which
should be color corrected
