Hi, I'm working on a few weapons and creatures for a standalone mod (using the darkplaces engine) called "Contagion Theory" website here:-

Nope, thats just the way the XNormal-Viewer displays the normals. The screens don't show the model with the normalmap used as a color map. That's what i think at least :P You can only tell whether its tangent, or object space by looking at the flat normalmap.

Some solid work in this thread! I feel there is too little color variation in the "spiders" texture, but it looks awesome when it's lit.

Thanks for the comments, yeah its a tangent space map (mostly blue) its just xnormal that displays it like that as mentioned above!!

very nice weapons! scary creatures!
contagion... that sounds like a T-virus!
We wanna see some mashed spiders ( with green mucus ) with that cannon weaps :p
