View Full Version : UV-Mapping in Shake 2.5

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering some problems following this tutorial

None of my attempts comes even close to the desired result, so I presume that I miss something basic.

I attached my results(using a plane, a box and a teapot, all mapped with a 2048 reference map)

Any help appreciated.

I don't have shake in front of me so I can't diagnose your problem, but here's an alternative...
I made a macro called PG_TextureMap that does basic UV mapping, you can get it at Look inside (with "b") and you can figure out how it works. It's the same concept as that tutorial. And you can specify your texture's size using the macro parameters.

I posted the same on VFXtalk and the answer was that something with my reference was wrong.
