there is 2 objects here only CV datas are different.
othe all lines and spam counts etc same.

only CV worldspace datas different.
but one works with honey shader
the other does not work with honey shader.

this files not includes textureinfo etc... only object
same lines same datas
except CV worldspace data variables.
one works other not works with honey within maya8
(no problem in maya7)

files to compare with maya8 (not 7) (

I have made 2 compare make it realize:

weird problem in maya8 but it is.

maya8 is not works with every connections and converting data format CV locations makes maya confuse.

downgrade to maya 7
maybe next bug turn to 3dMax
2nurbs objects-nolights-same assigned honey shader-different view
both exported as and b.mb. checked.... all lines are same except CV datas.
.... how can be different view ?

I think.... maya developers are also sold with maya to autodesk....

and they are revenge for this :by putting bugs into maya to downgrade sale rates

who knows.... maybe max will turn to discreet. and maya to alias|wavefront
and autodesk will alone with their CAD and solid architect builders on a top of high-structure :)

he he, try to drag a maya shader,not a mental ray shader,(in maya 8) in to the slot of base material of a mib_glossy _reflection and press render- to see what hapend he-he(to bad I can't use emoticons from YMess),then try again in maya 7(at last maya 7 wont crash)...
In my opinion maya 7 is much more stable than maya 8....and the new menu it's a...hmm...
