I have read some similar threads about this but still can't find the awnser. I want a building to collaps.. I would like to rebuild this building made of particles and let that burst. in other words I would like to rebuild an obect from particles (big chunks if posible). can this be done?

Yes thank you this is a very cool tutorial! but here a particle emmiter makes an explosion. I would like to rebuild an obejct (say a house or a teapot or whatever) made of particles, wich I thenn have control over. Is there a good way to achieve this?

Yes, there is :)

I saw this in another of Alan's tutorials - try the ones about reforming objects.

The idea is as follows: You position the particles in an object as usual (witho position object). In the same event, you write a script that puts the particle position in it's vector channel - it's something like PCont.particle.vector = PCont.particle.position, with the position and vector channels enabled. Then you move tha particles as you wish. When it comes time to reform them, you use a Find Target operator, with the 'by script vector' option checked. This makes every particle go to the same position it had when you recorded them with the script. Quite neat! Look at Alan's and Bobo's tutorials about scripting with PFlow (there are some in the maxscript reference, too).

Good luck!
