View Full Version : Pflow and Blobmesh in Max 9

I can't get blobmesh assigned to only one event of my flow, the seperate rollout in blobmesh for particle flow doesn't work. Pressing Add does nothing, I can uncheck the All Particle Flow Events but then I dont get blobmesh on my pflow at all and the Add button still doesn't work.

Is this bug or am I doing something wrong?

I'm having the same problem, when particel flow work with BlobMesh, popup window of "Particle Flow Events" is gone, there's no way to choose which PF event can work with BlobMesh....

it seems there're some major buggy things in "Compound Objects", anyone has solution? thanks in advance.

if you look there, in the fourth post, Bobo mentions that blobmesh in Max9 is broken when working with PFlow.
I thought a saw a workaround here in the forum somewhere, but i can't remember where.
you could also try Pwrapper, which comes with Glu3d. it's better/faster than blobmesh anyway.

The workaround was posted in the pflow thread here ( Basically the UI is broken, but the Maxscript access is not.

Blobmesh2 from Blur Studios works fine in max9

That isn't a Blur plugin. It is from Peter Watje, and is available here (
