View Full Version : MR map: filteres image pyramid problem

hi there.
I experience problems rendering in mentalray with filteres image pyramid .map files. I have a scene file using non filtered maps and everything renders fine via the renderfarm. But when using map format converted with the -p argument rendertimes for the same scene increase dramatically up to 20 times.

Does somebody have a clue why?

check the 2D texture node itself in Maya

there is a filter added by default
