Dream On

Hi everyone,
here is the begining of my posts for my personal project "Dream On", it is one small animation I wanted to make and finish around next summer. Time is short but I really want to work hard on it so that I can show it up.

A man wakes up alone on a desert island. The days pass but the man doesn't have anything to do. One day, he finds a big wooden box landed on the island's beach. Inside this wooden box is something that will change the next days of the lost man.

And this is the website I am working on to present the animation and the work I am doing on it:

Hope to get some advices on all points, so that I can make this project working fine. Thanks

I continue posting my work on the main character, I think I will just stop the body, but maybe I still want to work on the face because I don't really like it..

I have 2 big questions :

> Is it better to apply the turbosmooth or the meshsmooth for my animation? (ref: images below)

> Is it better to skin the character before or after the turbosmooth?

From the side view, your shoulders are pretty puny. It is a skinny character, but he has a muscular chest, so that mass should be reflected in the shoulders imo. I think part of the problem is that your collar bones are cutting in too deep in the shoulder area. If you look at it from the side view, right above the shouder and collarbone there is a deep indentation. The neck may be a little long, but is also just be that indentation.
