Now thats a neat character
i really dig the proportions of him.. reminds me of cannon fodder :D
And the WWII sucker that i am... really nice textures on the cloths just like the real deal
though whats the black ring around his lower arm?
you might also have to make the knee joint a bit different to make it better "deforming"/animating.... but thats ofcourse if your going to ;)

hey haha i didnt expect such a fast reply. Thanks. Yeah i know im kinda reachin out to a selected few WWII fans.. i've always been one.. i know its gettin kinda mainstream now but I modeled this awhile ago.. i have an allied version of it too maybe i'll post up.. havnt done any skinning for that yet but ill get around to it. My brother will hopefully rig and animate this soon so watch for those. .. any crits by the way?

oh to answer your question.. the black ring on his lower arm is a cuff worn by SS soldiers gathered from reference.. has some german writing on it.. has some kind of meaning.. not sure if i'll leave it on there though.. :S

it would be cool if you could post the allied version too and texture/uvw map ;)
