View Full Version : Sync Cinema 4D Sky-Sun to Maxwell Render

12 December 2006, 06:54 PM
An xpresso tool was made by Render Taxi (Alex) in the Maxwell Render Cinema 4D forums to bind time/date settings of the Cinema 4D sky object to the new Maxwell Render Settings Object.

I added a floatmath object to the xpresso expression to bind the GMT of Cinema 4D sky to Maxwell Render Object.

The combined sum of both of these actions has lead to a real-time synchronizing of Cinema 4D Sky/Sun to the Maxwell Render Physical Sky.

Note: The function of Cinema 4D Sky/Sun to Maxwell Render Physical sky works fine with the new Cinemaxwell plugin the workflow before was more of a manual nature to synchronize the two. The function worked fine, it is just that with Cinema 4D's fantastic xpresso the automatic synch is a much appreciated feature.

Thanks Render Taxi, Next Limit for making the worlds of Cinema 4D and Maxwell Render a great combination.

Thanks to Maxon for bringing a wonderful release of R10 to the users!

Since this xpresso is built in Cinema 4D R10. An image has been provided for R9 and below users:
