Hey everyone, here's an animation I've been working on for a class. Sound clip is from Toy Story.

Hi labbejason I really like this test though I do notice that each pose to pose can be clearly seen. To make that less obvious try more overlapping movements with the arms and body. Also try to avoid twinning where the arms and legs are perfectly symmetrical to each other. try to break them up in each pose to make it more interesting. I also think you can exaggerate the facial expressions even more. Hope this is not too much it is a really good test and I think it can be even better!

i think the main thing that pops out to me is that at the begining your animation is too symetrical. your arms seems like they move exactly the same. aslo it feels like you need some overlapping animation. you hit your poses nicely but everthing hits at the same time. try delaying your arms or your head. its off to a great start. should be a nice peice when your finished

It looks good. The expressions and timing are good. One thing i would avoid is acting with just the upper body. It looks like his feet are glued to the ground. Give your character more screen movement, this will add energy to the entire animation.

Great work, keep it up.

Thanks for the C&C guys. I'm going to add some foot movement in there. Like you said, Dudeacle, that'll add alot more energy into it. Offsetting some keys and tweaking the poses to be less symmetrical won't be a problem, RayAnime. Someone over at StrutYourReel also mentioned about pushing the expressions a little more, so I'll see what I can do about that without making it look ridiculously exaggerated.
