I thought the concept was really cool, I especially liked th shot where the "eagle gun" thing was getting ready the fire.

My criticism would be that it gets irritating to have the camera constantly roaming around in every shot. Most specifically, the second shot, where the camera pulls out from the radar screen. It took an awfully long time to get the launch switch in frame (maybe pull back to show the whole radar screen then cut to a wider shot). After that, I thought the moves in the exteriors were mostly well handled, in that they had a majestic feel, but every shot was moving and it got repetitive and was distracting me from the mood of the piece.

Thanks Paul for your comments. I was thinking the same thing that the
camera motion was slow and it was taking forever to show the hand switch part.
I'm going to try and combine as u mention seperate shots to break up the motion
so its not so repetetive....Thanks again!!!

Soundtrack in progress for The Red Kite

Below is a link to the latest progress on the music for The Red Kite. The video
has not been revised yet and is intended as a rough edit. There will be changes
to scenes where the camera movement is excessive. Thanks all for helping me see

tought its french when i saw it ^^, just joking, really nice concept,
but the crit here too, camera work, you put sometimes really long sequences on less important stuff, doing fancy camera moves, its kinda distracting from the story, also on hotspots, like when the rockets start, miss and hit, everythng happens so fast. id put some work in the timing and make the camera less fancy.

keep it up ;)

Hey Dervish,

Thanks for the post and I agree 100 percent that the cam needs reigning in. I'll
have update on that hopefully really soon.....Thanks for watching.
