View Full Version : rendering hard shadows with fg

hello, i am using xsi 2.1 and trying to get hard shadows with fg. i have tried increasing the radiance value to get better shadows but they havent worked yet... anybody have any tips for me? the type of lighting i'm going for is like a really hot noon time.

maybe change ur light source? make it smaller, stronger, just wondering, not sure if it works....

Try to use an other light in your scene. You can use a spot light
or an infinite. Just decrease the intensity of the constant material
(of the objet illuminating the scene), and play with the spot light
settings, with the shadow on. That way, you should be able to get your hard shadows.
