View Full Version : Mental Ray and Material Editor problems

I've noticed a couple of problems with Mental Ray and the mat ed in Max 9 (not sure if this affects older versions)

First, editing materials when mr is used to render the mat ed is a lot slower than if the scanline is used - although you can't see what you're doing then.

Secondly, I occasionally get the material sphere's in sub-object materials corrupting - with either garbled graphics, or just incorrect.

Has anyone else experienced this?
