View Full Version : Instanced particle Shading network

I have a shading network for a set of instanced particles, which I need to give each particle a random colour, however, I havnt the faintest idea how any more, I originally hoped I could just use a particle expression and it would work, but it didnt.

What I have is a ramp with a bunch of different colours, and I want each instanced object to use a particleID or something to take a random V coord for the ramp, but none of my shader workarounds seem to be working.

So does anyone know how I can use the instanced objects to give a random colour at a point in my shader network?
