View Full Version : Light linking object for MR shader

With maya shader, we could use the light link for each object, shader, but this function does not work with MR Shader.
Some MR shader have light option, allow us choose light mode (0,1,2) also light for link. however, some third party shader such as ctrl.shading doesnt have this option
Any way to make light-object linking when using MR shader?

Which version of Maya are you using? I've noticed that shaders seem to obey light linking a bit better in 8 than they did in 7.
