I am trying to set up a particle system that replicates the way feathers flutter to the ground. The scenario is that a small box is opened and a fountain of feathers come bursting out of it (accompanied by a chicken sqawk!) and then flutter to the ground the way feathers do. The tricky thing is trying to get the swaying motion. Can anyone suggest anything?
I've been using P Flow, strictly controlling the rotation of the feathers but I think the motion can only be achieved with space warps. Tried a plugin space warp, a wind called Random Walk, but it doesn't seem to agree with particle Flow. Certain spinners make Max crash.
