hi warry well this is far from being a finished matte painting, it is more of a sketch , matte paintings a re photoreal images created by anymeans you want but not fully 2D painitngs ( in some ocations )

first of all think about composition, depth and scale
I see your image very flat you donīt know whats in the fore, middle or background
I suggest you visit the tutorials section at this matte painting forum you will find lots of tips on drawing, perspective, and techniques
I will look forward to see your improvement

For the Backround/Forground etc... i 'll try to make they better .

I was trying to find photos on this site : but i find nothing realy interesting :( .

I saw the Ressource category on but all of their links are not free and the pictures looks beautiful :'( .

Do you know other web site ?

Thanks you .

You are looking for photo reference?
That's not what it is about when you start.
First you need to handle sketching ideas and then you can detail them up and use photoreference.

Have a look at this Sketches thread (

Great help for start are Gnomon DVDs by Dylan Cole. (

Well, the main problem is, that matte painting takes much more than just stitching photos together. Don't wory and paint in it.
