View Full Version : Toon Shader Tesselation ?

Hi CG community,

I'd need your help about shader toon in Maya.
I'm rendering NURBS surfaces, and I've got some issues concerning the tesseltion. (curves broken each time I've a curved surface..)
I know that the Maya shader toon is building its own architecture on the Nurbs surfaces, but where do I change the tesselation sensitivity ?

you should first look at the tesselation of the nurbs sphere in the channel box, then under renering, there is an item, for nurbs tess too.

try these out first, before you start hammering the line tess, as its not as adjustable as the main jobect
