View Full Version : Digital Painting: Fist of Heaven

Originally planned to be a 3d model, but after realizing how lazy I am I decided just to paint it. It took about 2 nights of work and most of today....all done in Painter 7, with a wee bit of photoslop to correct some colors. I went a little mental with the lightining bolt, but i think it works.

Wicked, I like the transition from the rough sketch you showed me to this. Defitenly one of my favs. Keep it up. Makes me want to open Painter again.

That's funny, when I was a kid I loved Robocop. Maybe this is what happens when Robocop dies...he gets a pair of wings and an electric sword. =)

lol. Great Painting. I think if you removed the lightning on the top right of the sword, it would look better. But still, an excellent piece.

great painting man...

(I really have to start using painter)

hm, yeah I see what you mean about the sword. I guess I could reason that the lightning is making that blue light, but it does seem a bit off. good comment slacker.

So why hasnt this got some more press. This thing is real nice...but I guess people have gotten use to you posting kickass work!!?

hahaha, i guess people are spolied around here...with so much good art floating around, some things fall through the cracks.

I posted this at some different sites, so overall I did get a good level of feedback.

You can never have enough good art floating around...

Have you ever watched COPS? Well, there definitely are PLENTY of homes in the midwest without any good art up on their walls... hmmm, If only we could have some sort of deal with the suburbs.
