View Full Version : Need some help with the wings

03-21-2002, 07:17 PM

I made this drawing 2 weeks ago and I finished it but I'm not happy with the wings's
I must say that I didn't spent much attention on them.
The drawing is a character of a comic artist ( Joe Madureira) only i drew it in a other position (How do you say that: in a other maner of that the character stands!.) . Well I hope you can help me with the wing.

Thanks in advantage

Here is a link to the pic.

Well I hope somebody can help me with how to draw a wing.
And that it's possible to see my drawing.

FHere is an other try out.

I think I see what you mean. The wings look more to me like shreaded cloth and less like feathers, they need to show some stiffness and arc back away from the knees. Also fewer feathers across the surface of the wings will help. I'd say your best bet is to look at some images of vultures or other large birds standing with their wings spread.

Have fun!
