Here's post of a few things that are currently keeping me busy.
These props are for a pc game called Heat, (class project) that's a part of the 2 year course im attending in Australia.

I just posted this to break my lurking nature.
I've been lurking at this site for about 3-4 years. So now that i can make stuff in 3d, ill hopefully be more active, in this great online community.

they look really accurate, but as usual weapon modelers you seem to like to render them with fancy gi etc , since your model is a game model you should take a viewport grab and another with a wireframe on .

Thanks for the tip Johnny.

It's all about the presentation.

They look pretty good, but your overall poly distribution is a little poor. You have a lot of detail and polygons in some areas, and have very low detailed in other areas (that seem just as important). On top of that, keep an eye out for wasted polys for example, at the front of the barrel of the FS-ATRL you have a completely unnecessary edge loop that doesn't seem to have any purpose.

Other than that, they look pretty good. Make sure you have lots of photo refs (or concept images) for whatever you are making.

The pics are too small to really comment on the accuracy.
And why do you have an IMI Galil depicted where it says ak47?

the Galil assault rifle is a a modified Kalashnikov ak47 design.

That pointless edgeloop, is there because that front part of the FS-ATRL is a seperate object.

Are these for prop models or for first person view models?

They seem to low detail for view models yet too high detail for props. I'm having a hard time deciding on their purpose.

Overall, they've got solid shape but I think all of them have at least some unused polys you could clean up. It's also very, very rare that you'd ever model the inside of the barrel, even on view models (because it will almost always never be seen).

They also seem to have very boxy bodies but very round circular parts, you should probably think about redistributing the polys a bit.
