I'm seeing everything but XSI exporters there ( My Q: What's up with that?

Does nobody yearn for an alt to Maxwell for slothful unbiased rendering..?

That is all. Thank you.

It looks like it's being worked on very actively by rgigante:

This looks really promising! I hope rgigante manages to finish this it. Hat off to him.

Yes, rgigante is developing an XSI plugin for this exceptional renderer. First screenshots look very promising and I am looking forward to test it soon :)
I have been playing with indigo for quite some time now (via Blender export) and I like it even more than Maxwell. There are still some features missing, like SSS or textured emitters, but the distributed network rendering support is working great and absolutely no hassle to setup.
If you have not heard of indigo yet, I would recommend you to visit its gallery. They have some amazing images there!
And best of all: it's free!

Wow, I'm psyched, totally missed that on the forums. Thanks a lot BenR (for this and BHairy ;)) - and to this rgigante fellow for this effort.

I've also been testing under Blender and it is such a lovely way of cutting down on setup, and from an old Blenderhead perspective - especially less so than for YafRay. I'm happy to take the rendertime hit for the beauty pass, I almost prefer Indigo's preview to MR.
