Let's go with some concepts!
EHy man you are creating so much brand new races
we need a city-builder race to make city for all those funky people
so here a concept for this race :p
02-05-2003, 05:15 PM
on this middle earth maybe with need some music
02-05-2003, 05:24 PM
help me to choose where i can go
for the city builders i can imagine the workflow and the point Iwant to reach
the musicman maybe is more complicated for me
maybe the city builders could be also a 3d subject

I like your concept (the first one), but try to give him a more interesting pose, that one looks kinda weird, unnatural. Post more!
go go go!

Andres u are another spanish friend togheter with Pancreas. I love yuor country very much!!! (expecially Barcelona and San Sebastian)
hmm I'm working on the second concept but if u tell me tha u find interestind the Dollum i could change something in my plan
Sorry for the bad scanning of the dollum the pencil of the origial is more interesting than this (but too large to be scanned)
Moebius is on of my first inspiration for that pic
If u see "40 jours sur le desert b" u could find some relations

I like the music-man most,I think he fits best to the middle-earth universe.
The dollum rather fits to another, more comic-inspirated world.
I like to see an update of your city builders, itīs hardly to identify whatīs going on your second concept.

Carlockiīs in! Carlockiīs in!
I prefer the musicman too, the two-neck guitar is crazy, maybe the resonance box should be bigger, so itīs played seated. You could draw the whole band!
The flying cities are great, they could be wandering musics, travelling on their cities (wich are their stages where they play too, as those ships of Final Fantasy) through Middle Earth, playing for kings and aristocracy.
Keep it up!

puuuf - Hi Hoa (ehy look how good this sound fell "hey, Hi Hoa")
Yes Musician is a little bit more tolkien stuff (i think just more poetic anyway)
for the second concept i have to choose a good background. Soon some tests of them
thanks for the relply little Hoa (ahy little Hoa sounds good too :))
Pancreas - Hey now i'm reading well ur suggestions
so fuc**ing great!!!!
Frinsklen i forgot to tell ya that my gf loved ur toon entry very much!!!!
The musicman is nice. It *is* more poetic than Tolkein. And hey, who says he needs to have 5 fingers? :)

Hi Carlocki. I agree with everyone here. Do the music man, with a nice background and such and the current composition it'll look nice. 2nd image reminded me of Moebius.

If you want my opinion, I think the druid is my favourite. Just make sure he's not a human...
Maybe you could show some sketches with more details, or go straight to the digital issue. :buttrock:
I dig your idea, I hope this is the final concept, cause there's no time for you to change your mind!
02-13-2003, 03:46 PM

The bottom druid on the right I liked the best Carlocki. Kick ass designing in his costume and ornaments. I agree with Frinsklen, if you made him human looking he might be mistaken for a wizard. Time is really running out dude you gotta a week to finish this thing. GO GO GO!!!:bounce: :bounce:
