I know this might not seem like a mel question per say, but I'm trying to figure out the mathmatical equivalent to the pointOnCurve command. I'm writing an external program using the same script I created in maya. I've exported the positions of cvs in a curve to a file and I'd like to calculate the positions along the curve. I know that a nurbs curve is a nonuniform rational B-spline but beyond that any of the explainations I've found on how to calculate the curve are beyond me. Any help would be most appreciated.
