I didnt have allot of time to model lately and lost my flow.. so meh =(
On a quest to find back my polyflow
I know, i know gotta clean up the tricep-elbow area..

oh) you also use max, and me.... I'm just beginner in all that , but polyflow (to which I desperadely flow:) is not very "flowish", and sharp edges on the legs can be smoother with the same polycount, and you know that, dont you?)

I think the chest part should be rounded a bit, it looks kinda flat at the bottom of the stomach area, and the tail looks kinda funny, it looks more like a demon tail then a turtle tail

lol a ninja turtle awesome. Only thing is i dont seem to remember them having tails  i dont know a great deal about poly flow so i cant comment on that but keep updating

I think it would benefit you to check out some of these links for polyflow:
Pretty quick and to the point stuff to help you get back in the groove. Right now there seems to be too much action going on in the knee and elbow area. Pay especial attention to these areas. Hope it helps.

The tail really doesn't look right. Turtles don't have tails that look anything like that and the TMNT didn't even have tails most of the time.

And here i was thinking i could be creative adding an evil tail to a evil turtle :/
lol I used to give out poops link allot.. and now i need it myself.. how ironic
btw, what do you mean with too rounded?
10 October 2006, 05:53 PM
Fixed most of the crits.. Dunno what exactly to change about the hands now

Looks a lot better. I think you could exaggerate the front schutes a bit more. Those are the muscle like shields covering the body. Also, supposing that you may be adding them in, the schutes that cover the crotch area are missing. I found these awesome diagrams. Hope it helps!

give them weapons haha
love the ninja turtle
nice work man
10 October 2006, 02:02 PM
Yep, weapons are coming up next =)
10 October 2006, 04:27 PM
Another bit of tweaking
10 October 2006, 11:33 PM
k, weapons done, uvw done and a few extra's.
Still gotta tweak the head and calf and sai's
10 October 2006, 05:23 AM
Those sai do not have a long enough middle point - they look more like garden tools than sai. The swords are looking very chubby. Finally, the nunchucks look a little weak - right now the chain is really thick but the handles are thin, and they don't look like they are weighted properly to swing - the chain looks heavier than the handles.
What is that on the turtle's shoulder? Not the pad, on the other shoulder, it looks like something coming out of his shell?
10 October 2006, 05:24 AM
On the last post I noticed the belt didnt go around the shell.
No bands around the arms and knees?
little sia refrence for ya.
10 October 2006, 07:39 AM
Weapons have never been my strongest point.
Thank you for the replies.
Ghostscape, ill try to fix the nunchakus and sword. Oh and thing coming out of his shell is just my burst of creativity, Its a little something Don invented. Maybe its a camera scanning info, maybe its a minigunner.
Ahh thnx for the Sai ref squirmy!
yeah you're right about the belt, i guess i was just lazy about extruding it.
And i never really liked the joint protectors.. they look so kiddy imho

Meh i worked so hard on the uvw, i think i deserve a little fun. Crits are welcome but will most likely fall on deaf ears seeing as its.. mega wip.
10 October 2006, 02:31 AM
Looking at the pic Squirmy uploaded its easy to see that the top half of the head is supposed to be smaller than the bottom half, the way it is now makes it look a bit off. IMHO.
