Well I just got myself a brand spanking new graphire 2, (yipee, no more painting with the mouse!) so I thought I'd test it out a little especially since I'm having some huge probs with my 3d software at present.
The first one was done directly in photoshop with no planning and as such is basically a doodle to test my tablet. He's holding a mouse, just in case you can't make it out.
The second is from a pencil sketch & is still a wip. Its a lollipop demon btw.(don't ask :p ) Photoshop again.

I was wondering, does the Graphire2 work well ? I gotta get a tablet to soon, and I thought of the Intuos2, but it´s so damn expensive.
Hey man, i´m a yoda :D

Yeah it works pretty good for me so far. Intuitive to use & easy to install etc. They have made a load of improvements from the graphire 1 which I used at college. For a start the tablet & mouse are weightier & feel more sturdy. The mouse has been completely redesigned & looks & feels more like a normal mouse rather than that crappy plasticy thing they had before. The pressure sensitivity works well & the whole thing is pretty good value for money I'd say.

I got a Graphire too. I find it works great for me for what I want to do except for one thing.. the pen... the tip of the sits a bit loose for the pressure sensing. unless it's just mine, the tip tends to "twitch" the sizing and sesitivity a bit at times and is not as precise as I'd like it to be. Other than that, its a nice tablet.
