View Full Version : Hypervoxel equivelents?

I'm still learning XSI, having been a lightwave user for some years. I've been scanning around for some kind of hypervoxel type shader, but there only seems to be one (slow with shadows) freebie and one commercial plugin from Binary Alchemy.

Are there any other free ones around that can give the hypervoxels volume smoke?

The binary Alchemy shader can do some great stuff. It's more complex than Hypervoxels, but it can also do more than HV and seems to render much, much quicker.

Yeah I dont doubt it. I've seen many good things about it. I only have the FDN demo right now, so I can't justify spending 100 euro on a plugin while I haven't commited to XSI.

It would have been nice to evaluate its potential though...
