This is a game char made with the help of Zbrush for the normal map.Made it just for fun and to boost abit my expertise in game art .Hope to see some crits although it's still a WIP.

Software used: Max8,Zbrush,Bodypaint,PS
Polycount: 1720 tris
Textures: color,normal,opacity and specular = 1024x1024

Still working on the weaponery and shield.

Hi Grotesq. Looking pretty good so far, though I'm not so sure the chainmail is working. It seems to fall apart under the chin and arm-pit. Try to manipulate some of those UV's to relieve some of the stretching. :thumbsup:

Couple of things - as mentioned there is some stretching going on in the chain mail, around the front of the neck, the arm area and the back of the neck.

There are also some things about the hands that struck me, I don't know why, but the hand seems very thick, it looks to be as thick as the arm in the front shot, I think you should move the verts of the wrist so that it looks like the arm tapers.

It looks like you are using a mitten hand, but all the fingers are the same length, which looks pretty wierd. It's an easy fix to make a couple of cuts so that you can have different lengths for each of the fingers. There's also a seam down the middle of the 'ring' finger.

I just noticed the strap that goes from his belt doesnt go over the chainmail, it reaches the top of the tunic at the front, and carries on again at the back, but it doesn't actually go over his shoulder.

Finally, in the 3/4 view, it looks as though the chain mail has zero thickness to it, I'm not sure if this is the case or whether it's caused by the angle and texturing?

I'm not trying to be overly harsh here, these are just the things that I noticed, although if it's still a wip I'm sure you will address these :)

10x both of you for helping me notice the mentioned flaws.Although about the seam crossing the finger that's no the case,I just painted a sixth finger noticed that about when you told me :).I'll fix those soon.Or atleast better them problems in my next model.
